sonnet four looks like the sea by Connor Weightman

Yellow by Felicity Plunkett

wakings

by Stu Hatton

4.

the dream a burning seed

*

a leaf-storm

raising dust & fever

2.

thoughts are guests;

the sky is trouble

*

: why court disappointment

over birds a sky cannot hold?

1.

… while mapping a breath, fell

into a deep tree

3.

a mind may surface

into that expanse

6.

faces ghosting across the glass

as you breathe upon it

5.

(another world in,

another world in)

*

: a cymbal forms & crashes in air
